Studioteka is happy to announce a brand-new restaurant project located in the legendary Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York! Taking inspiration from the beautiful and elegant piazzas of Italy, the Landmark at Sac’s Place will be a 1,650 sq. ft. space outfitted with a brand-new bar, pizza oven, and elegant outdoor dining space designed by Studioteka. Once the home of Paramount Pictures, Kaufman Astoria Studios has made over 90 years of film history as the location for major motion pictures, independent films, television shows, and commercials. Kaufman’s stages have been graced by actors such as Harrison Ford, Matt Damon, Ben Stiller, Meryl Streep, Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, and Demi Moore, among others, as well as being the production location of prominent directors including Martin Scorsese, Sydney Lumet, Norman Jewison, Francis Ford Coppola, and Paul Greengrass. Tucked underneath a soaring colonnade in the studio’s historic building, the Landmark’s patrons will be able to dine and dance under the stars, while mingling with the modern-day stars of film and screen.
