The 2023 Fall Lecture Series at Jefferson University kicks off on Monday, September 11, at 6:00 PM in the Tuttleman Auditorium on the East Falls Campus. We’re excited to welcome Vanessa Keith for her talk, “Surviving Climate: Solutions From the Year 2180.”
Vanessa Keith, MArch, MIA, is a registered architect and the Principal of Studioteka, an award-winning design firm she founded in 2003 (@studiotekadesign). Based in DUMBO, Brooklyn, Studioteka integrates architecture, technology, economic and social development, and environmental concerns into its multidisciplinary approach. Vanessa’s focus includes visionary solutions to climate change and designing technical and engineering responses to environmental challenges. Her research spans Eco-, Afro-, and Indigenous Futurism, as well as the use of cutting-edge tools like virtual and augmented reality to create sustainable and socially just futures.
