Our two-bed, two-bath complete apartment renovation is nearing the home stretch, and it’s exciting to see all those fantastic design ideas coming to life! The dramatic foyer, featuring black and white chair and picture rail detailing, black and white diamond checkerboard marble tile flooring, and a stunning brass and crystal chandelier set in a Gothic tracery ceiling with recessed cove lighting, provides a truly breathtaking entryway to the home.
The custom millwork in the kitchen and media room is in place, awaiting brass pulls and the installation of stone countertops, which were templated last week. Bathrooms are 95% complete, with only the shower glass, a stone bench top, and saddles left to be installed. The existing wood flooring will be refinished and stained a rich dark chocolate brown, and custom window shutters, along with glass for the kitchen’s illuminated pantry, will be added as we wrap up all the finishing touches, including furnishings!
