Studioteka Cosmetic Dentistry Office Design Walk Through!

June 30, 2019

Team Studioteka checking construction on our cosmetic dentistry office project! We have been able to make substantial progress in this complete transformation, all while keeping a thriving practice fully open. Almost at the finish line, go team!

Checking the drawings against work in the space and gearing up for an updated finish plan!
Flooring installation is near complete! The void under this wall will contain a custom built in cabinet designed by Studioteka for the two dental hygienists’ areas on either side
Ceiling is complete with special LED lighting panels. A window at the top of the wall between the rooms will allow natural light to filter through the space.
The noise from the lab will be contained with acoustical insulation embedded within the wall, keeping the new consult room peaceful and quiet!
LEDs are installed based upon differing levels of warmth between clinical areas, where the dentist and his staff do color correction, and circulation, administrative and reception areas, where the color of the light can be warmer.
Putting the finishing touches on the flooring!
The piece of equipment on the other side of the wall is so heavy we can’t lift it a millimeter! Framing had to be beefed up to accommodate.

Custom cabinetry arrived on site and will have pulls, handles, and stone tops installed next week!
Flooring is durable and commercial grade, but also aesthetically pleasing and will go well with our blue color scheme, which is geared towards the dentist’s need to reset his vision by looking at blue tones when doing color matching for dental work.
Closing up one of the walls.
Plumbing connecting to the basement for the suction, air, cold and waste lines attached to the dental chair.
Ceiling framing around new walls
Checking and double checking!
